Position Title: Sourcing Manager
Location: on-site, New York City

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sourcing Manager to oversee the sourcing and production of a growing category. This role involves close collaboration with overseas offices to develop new resources, resolve quality and delivery issues, and ensure timely production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, supply chain management, and international business partnerships within the fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Approval and overseas teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Strategically place orders with the capacity planning team.
- Identify, resolve, and follow up on quality and testing issues.
- Align with capacity and Product Approval teams on priority styles by season.
- Assist in negotiating FOB prices with overseas vendors to meet financial goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize factory capacities.
- Work with Design and overseas partners to cost new products within the approved vendor base.
- Align with Demand Planning teams to finalize global and domestic order placements.
- Create and share pricing projections with international customers.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members.
- Provide direction and management to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support the Sourcing Director in resolving production timing and delivery issues.
- Travel to overseas vendors/factories to build collaborative relationships.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management within the fashion industry.
- Proven ability to work with international business partners to drive results.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 40%).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Consistent in-office presence to fully appreciate the qualities that define our brand partners’ products.
