Job Description
Title: Sales Operations Specialist
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: Ronkonkoma, NY
Compensation: $50,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience)
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Sales Operations Specialist to join our team.
This is a long-term opportunity with room for growth within the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing strong support to both the sales team and front office operations (no sales involved).
Assist the sales team with quotes, including quote entry, follow-up, and order processing
Support inside sales with administrative tasks and data entry
Provide prompt, professional customer service to clients
Maintain accurate product and pricing information within the ERP system
Communicate with vendors and customers to ensure smooth and timely transactions
Ensure order accuracy and assist with issue resolution as needed
- Previous experience in sales support, customer service, and order processing required
What We're Looking For:
Working knowledge of ERP systems
Prior experience in fasteners and distribution required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
