 Business Development Manager Hybrid Role

Looking to Expand in the Financial Services (Credit Unions/ Regional Banks etc as well as Municipalities, Healthcare and Hospitality and Retail Verticals

 The following lists the responsibilities and requirements of the Business Development position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and lead the execution of a market strategy for new sales in partnership with key stakeholders in both the security and glass industries.
  • Identify and prioritize key prospects by leveraging professional network, market research and industry insights to build the pipeline on a quarterly basis.
  • Participate in pre-bid and pre-job meetings and kickoffs as necessary.
  • Assist in forecasting and the financial review of all sales performance, pricing and profitability of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to review existing processes, identify challenges and recommend solutions to achieve more efficient results.
  • Deliver proposals to leadership team which include objectives of project, timeline and cost of project. 
  • Prospecting: Identifying new leads, developing lists of potential prospects, and implementing cold outreach campaigns
  • Demonstrating: Teaching customers how to use the company's products or services
  • Negotiating: Overcoming objections and negotiating with leads
  • Maintaining databases: Keeping a database of potential clients and sharing their contact details with other sales representatives

Job Requirements


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 5+ years of new business experience in a Territory-based business. 
  • Ability to partner with vendors and project resources.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, able to work effectively, independently and as a team member.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Experience with FileMaker Pro or customized software solution.
