What You’ll Be Doing
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine specific prosthetic and orthotic needs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans
• Design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices to meet individual patient requirements
• Ensure precise measurements, fittings, and adjustments for optimal functionality and comfort
• Educate patients on the proper use and care of devices
• Stay current with advancements in prosthetic and orthotic technology and apply best practices
• Maintain detailed patient records, including assessments, progress reports, and device specifications
• Partner with the administrative team to coordinate appointments, billing, and insurance matters
Job Requirements
What You Bring to the Table

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from an accredited program

ABC or BOC Certification as a Prosthetist Orthotist

State licensure (if applicable)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

Certification as a Prosthetist Orthotist (ABC or BOC) required
