Job Description
We are looking for a Production Assistant to support all aspects of product sourcing and development for a rapidly growing importer. Our client values someone with high energy and the ability to multi-task and problem solve. Our Client's primary focus lies in fostering innovation within everyday products used by people and identifying upcoming trends in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and communicate daily with overseas factories to prepare accurate and detailed development and costing sheets.
- Quickly elevate costing to the department head for final review.
- Follow up on sample and material shipments to and from factories, ensuring smooth logistics and timely deliveries.
- Maintain organized development spreadsheets.
- Aid in office tasks related to sample handling and product management.
- Execute assigned errands as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma required (further education preferred).
- 1 year of Production Assistant experience or relevant training preferred
- Familiarity with production terminology and Fluency in Chinese are a plus.
- Proficient in using various computer applications and software relevant to production management.
- Highly organized and adept at multitasking, with a strong aptitude for creative problem-solving
- Able to lift objects weighing up to roughly 40 lbs, and capable of comfortably going up and down multiple flights of stairs every day.
