Personal Injury Attorney
We are urgently seeking an experienced Bilingual (English and Spanish) Pre-Suit Personal Injury Associate Attorney. Candidates can work out of our Fort Lauderdale or Lake Worth office.
We are a premier full-service law firm, has handled tens of thousands of cases and recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for our clients in different areas of law, including personal injury/car accidents, personal injury protection (PIP) litigation, workers’ compensation, family law, employment law, real estate law, elder law and commercial litigation. We have seven offices located throughout the state of Florida and one office in Texas.
We are currently seeking a dedicated, experienced Bilingual (English/Spanish)Pre-SuitPersonal Injury Associate Attorney to join our team. This position is perfect for attorneys with 1+ years of pre-suit personal injury experience who are eager to grow as legal professionals, have a passion for justice, and a drive to excel in Personal Injury Law. This position is NOT remote.
Compensation:
Base salary $100,000 – $125,000and commensurate based on experience.
Attorneys with a portable case load already in place will receive preferential consideration. Bar Dues and CLEs provided by the law firm, health insurance benefits provided by the firm, a commission on any case brought into our firm for any area of law that we handle (minus PIP).
Responsibilities:
Work closely with our clients to understand the extent of their injuries, negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel, and represent our clients in court. Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and falls, premises liability claims, and wrongful death cases. Drafting demand packages, negotiating and settling cases, networking with doctors, reviewing cases and making recommendations to clients, sitting in on statements and EUO’s, legal research, and legal writing. Work with experts from various medical and other disciplines assist with report drafting, deposition preparation, etc. On-call rotation to take new client calls.
Qualifications:
Licensed and in good standing with the Florida State Bar. 1+ years of experience pre-suit personal injury on plaintiff side. Experience drafting demand packages, signing up new clients, screening prospective new clients, negotiating and settling cases, and reviewing files and speaking with clients about recommendations on their cases, sitting in on statements and EUO’s. Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing, and legal research skills. Great attorney work ethic.
