Position: Administrative Records Specialist (Onsite, Temporary – Flexible Schedule)

Our client — a well-established organization conducting an internal records audit — is seeking a dependable Administrative Records Specialist to support the review and organization of physical personnel files. This onsite role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently in a structured environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Review and reconcile physical employee files against active and terminated employee records
  • Determine appropriate file disposition (retain, store, re-file, or shred) based on company guidelines
  • Organize, label, and prepare files and storage boxes for proper handling or shipment
  •  Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
  • Keep an orderly and compliant workspace within an office/warehouse environment
  •  Complete assigned tasks independently within established timelines

  •  Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  •  Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  •  Reliable, punctual, and dependable

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience in administrative support, records management, or filing preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift file boxes as needed

I worked with another regional staffing firm until I joined Lloyd in 2006 and have been happily employed here ever since. I’ve spent the majority of my tenure working with contract (temporary) talent in roles ranging from Administrative Support to Customer Relations, to Backoffice Accounting and much more. I try to work closely with our staffing associates to address their needs for working contract engagements whether it be for scheduling flexibility, to explore career options or simply because the temporary nature of the work is appealing. I try to get to know my contract associates so that I can keep them as busy as they want to be when it comes to short or long-term employment. I’m a good example of using the pandemic to pursue a dream and recently relocated to my favorite vacation spot, Myrtle Beach, SC as my new home. Fortunately, remote work is a great option.  #LIVINGLLOYD
