Quality Assurance Associate
Job Description
A medical device organization is seeking a detail-oriented Quality/Regulatory Associate to support compliance, documentation control, and quality operations activities. This role is highly administrative with exposure to FDA-regulated processes, labeling, and recall support functions.
- Verify and validate medical device barcodes using barcode scanning systems
- Support artwork review and approval processes for regulated product labeling
- Assist with recall communication activities and related documentation
- Perform data entry and maintain accuracy across quality and regulatory records
- Execute clerical duties including copying, filing, scanning, and faxing as needed
- Process large volumes of administrative forms with a high degree of accuracy
- Follow written SOPs, procedures, and regulatory documentation requirements strictly
- Support troubleshooting activities under minimal supervision
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process updates
- Adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple concurrent assignments
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred
- 0–1 year experience in Quality, Regulatory, or Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry preferred
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Background in customer service and/or administrative/data entry roles beneficial
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to procedural compliance
- Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions
- High level of accuracy when processing large volumes of documentation
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workflows
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures
This role requires a disciplined, detail-driven individual who can thrive in a regulated environment, maintain strict adherence to SOPs, and support quality systems with consistency and accuracy.
