Job Description

Does this align w/your potential interest – a Direct Hire/FT opportunity – Oracle Fusion ERP Technical Lead. You’d be joining a leading distributor with a complex, high-volume distribution network across multiple states. The company has invested heavily in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and is now looking for a hands-on technical leader to take full ownership of the system.

The CIO (a pragmatic, solutions-focused leader) is looking for someone who brings deep Oracle expertise and business context. This role is about more than writing code—you’ll manage Finance, AP, Purchasing, Operations, Distribution, OTM, and WMS modules, troubleshoot and optimize the system, and ensure Oracle Fusion enables the business effectively.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll:
  • Lead Oracle Fusion ERP administration and development across multiple modules.
  • Build and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Manage PaaS environments: provisioning, security, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Handle system integrations, code migrations, environment clones, and testing cycles.
  • Provide strategic input on workflows, architecture, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with leadership and MSPs to resolve critical issues.

We're looking for someone with 10+ years of Oracle Fusion ERP experience, strong DBA and PL/SQL skills, and a solid understanding of distribution and finance processes. Oracle certifications (OCP or equivalent) are preferred. Linux and multi-tenant/PaaS experience are a plus.

This can be remote (come onsite for major projects), hybrid, or onsite role in Central Long Island, NY. Compensation will reflect top-tier expertise.

I am Joe Davis and I began my career in technology in my early 20's in the Computer Software industry.  Working for a Fortune 250 at the time, they groomed me from individual contributor into various leadership roles.  They even moved me from NY to California and back to NY over the course of my journey with them.  I worked with clients such as the Department of Defense and the Fortune 100.  After that, my technology career pivoted to Hosted, Managed and Professional Technical Services.  At that time I was working for a Fortune 15 company, really rounding out my technology breadth of knowledge.  After 12 years, I made the decision in 2011 to move into the Recruitment Industry by joining Lloyd Staffing  (LloydIT division) where I have enjoyed a successful career ever since.  Specializing in Technology has been my core focus my entire career.  I have worked in the technology space for 20+ years now and it has given me an incredible understanding of industry, skill sets, challenges and work cultures my clients value.  I am based in NY and cover nationwide searches for our clients, most heavily focused on Software Engineering, Project Management and Executive Level positions.

On off hours, you can find me at the gym...or driving my kids everywhere as a glorified “Uber driver” for them (although my kids still refuse to pay me for this for some reason). LOL.
