We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Front Desk / Medical Receptionist in the Pediatrics department to join their team!

Lloyd Staffing is seeking a Front Desk / Medical Receptionist in Pediatrics:

-Performs all necessary receptionist duties including answering, screening, and routing of phone calls.
-Utilizes (EMR) and/or other systems for check-in/check-out processes including verifying patient demographics, insurance information, obtaining patient signatures on applicable patient forms, and having the patient complete any paperwork associated with the visit.
-Collect any necessary payments and process accordingly.
-Facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider of patient’s arrival, delays, or backlogs.
-Schedule patient appointments and remind the patients of any necessary documentation that may be required for their appointment.
-Schedules any services or procedures as needed.
-Obtains/retrieves referrals/authorizations/eligibility verification that may be required. Keeps office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needs and placing orders or advising office manager of items needed.
-Ensures HIPAA guidelines are always followed.
-Provides additional coverage for night hours and weekend, as needed.
-Regularly required to communicate with patients, staff, and medical providers.
-Excellent communication and analytical skills.
-Attention to detail.
-Ability to meet deadlines.
-Self-directed and self-motivated.
-Able to multi-task.
-Professional phone etiquette.
Requirements: High School diploma/GED. Graduate of an accredited Medical Office Administration program or at least 6 months of prior experience working as a Medical Receptionist or 1 year of clerical experience. Microsoft Office proficiency.

Candidate needs to be flexible with schedule - open to working any time from: 

7:30AM-8PM  ( scheduled would be a time between this rage )
1 -2 Weekend days 

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour ( Depending on experience )
Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Job Requirements
