Job Description
Our client is a well-established law firm that consistently grows each year, based in Nassau County, Long Island. We have been engaged to identify a Litigation Paralegal to join their legal team.
Our client offers a supportive, collaborative working atmosphere. The incumbent hired for this role will be a personable team-player with prior personal injury experience. Strong time management is required for this position, along with experience drafting pleadings, E-Filing and trial preparation. Someone who has knowledge of No-Fault and strong client contact is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Review and draft routine legal documents
- Create and maintain case files
- Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
- Conduct legal research
Job Requirements
- Experience as a legal secretary or assistant or paralegal
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
- Bilingual a plus
