Medical Records Clerk

Job Description
- Request, receive, and organize medical records from various providers
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in digital and hard copy formats
- Assist attorneys and staff in locating and summarizing medical documents
- Review records for completeness and accuracy
- Follow up with providers to ensure timely responses
- Ability to track requests, follow with providers and manage deadlines
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a medical or legal setting OR 4-year collage Degree education
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred
- Familiar with LexPI and Smart Advocate
