Job Description
Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Bankruptcy Legal Practice
Location: Melville, NY
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am –5:00pm
Compensation: $50,000 – $55,000 (based on experience – growth offered)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional, fast-paced Law Firm environment while supporting the firms Office Manager with a mix of routine operations and special project responsibilities.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with day-to-day office operations and workflow coordination
Maintain accurate filing and records management systems
Support billing processes, time entry, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks
Coordinate office logistics and administrative projects as needed
What We're Looking For:
1–3+ years of experience in an administrative role required; an exposure to the Legal Environment is a bonus/plus.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Able to handle confidential financial and legal information with integrity and professionalism
Clear written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused mindset
