Key Responsibilities

• Manage and collect accounts receivable related to medical insurance claims.

• Follow up on outstanding and unpaid claims with commercial insurers.

• Track, document, and process all claims activity accurately and efficiently.

• Communicate with insurance companies via phone and email to resolve billing and payment issues.

• Prepare and send appeal letters for denied or underpaid claims using an established appeal letter library.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of collection efforts, appeals, and insurer responses.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical collections, billing, or accounts receivable required.

• Strong knowledge of insurance claims follow-up and denial resolution.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize workload effectively.
