The Senior IT Technician provides excellent onsite Tier 1/Tier 2 support directly to end users from our corporate office in Great Neck and at times travel to our clinic sites especially as we roll out our new service line. We are a Microsoft shop fully using the Azure Cloud for our data stores, proprietary app, and 3rd party software applications, as well as the full O365 suite of services.

The Senior IT Tech will be responsible for all hardware, networks and other related devices. The Senior IT Tech will work as part of the team and serve as the bridge to operations. The primary responsibilities in our growing and dynamic company include:

• Maintains inventory of all PCs, printers, laptops, monitors, scanners and cell phones
• Provides guidance and support to employees onsite and via phone/Teams to offsite offices via O365 and general PC questions
• Participate in or may lead training sessions related to new applications or updates
• Implement and oversee malware
• Monitor Azure alerts related to phishing and other potential risk
• Proactively identifies issues and escalates issues to management
• Implements best practices related to SharePoint, Outlook and Teams
• Resets passwords for onsite and remote users
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and apply best practices to use of all devices
• Work with vendors as needed to resolve issues
• Documents all work

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in IT related field
• 5+ years working as an I.T. Technician providing end user support 
• 5+ years working with PCs, laptops, printers
• 5+ years network troubleshooting
• 2+ years administering Outlook, SharePoint & Teams
• Demonstrated ability to write technical materials to communicate “how to” instructions
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with remote supervision (must be self-directed and driven)
• Superior customer service skills to provide A+ service and support to professionals, doctors and their support staff
