Job Description
We are seeking a Head of Operations for our client, a NYC-based, high-growth specialty finance company that provides financing solutions for HNW clientele. The person hired for this role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for treasury management, servicing the portfolio of existing loans, and for the overall productivity and quality of the team to include developing KPIs, processes, workflows, and team training.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
- Process improvement, efficiency, and standardization, document processes, implementation processes, and developing measures of success.
- Manage complex issues associated with loan documentation/servicing.
- Manage a team of professionals, including defining roles and responsibilities, professional development, training, and identifying opportunities to develop and grow a team in an offshore location.
Job Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of life insurance and broad operations experience in loan servicing is a must
- Experience in capital markets and ABS securities is desirable
- Technology savvy, data driven, process oriented, critical thinker
- Managed an operations function
- Contributed to the development of a loan management system
