Lloyd Staffing is partnering with a leading engineering and design firm to hire a Director, Healthcare/Sciences. This role will oversee a multidisciplinary team focused on the planning, construction, and renovation of healthcare and life sciences facilities.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned project leader with deep expertise in acute care, ambulatory care, and laboratory environments. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing project execution, design quality, and internal team coordination.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers across MEP disciplines for healthcare/life sciences projects.

• Serve as the client-facing project lead—owning schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

• Provide technical oversight and ensure QA/QC compliance on all projects.

• Develop proposals and contribute to strategic business development.

• Support hiring, mentoring, and development of department staff.

What You’ll Need:

• 15+ years of engineering and leadership experience in healthcare or research facility design.

• Experience in the management of a multi-disciplined team of MEP engineers and designers.

• Proven knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.

• Familiarity with codes, including NFPA, FGI, and Joint Commission standards.

• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and tools like Trane Trace or eQUEST.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
