Job Description
Title: Data Entry & Digital Scanning Specialist (temp)
Location: Hauppauge, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $21-23/per hour
We are seeking detail-oriented, accountable professionals to support a Large-scale Suffolk County Data Digitization Project.
This is a high-volume, process-driven environment requiring individuals who are comfortable with technology, adaptable, and committed to quality and confidentiality.
What You'll Do:
High-volume Data Entry and Digital Document Scanning
Preparation, organization, and batching of hard copy records
Voice-to-text Data Entry processing
Operation of OPEX large-scale document scanning equipment
Ensure readable, properly ordered, and quality-controlled document output
Manage multiple simultaneous workflows
Maintain high productivity while meeting strict accuracy standards
Collaborate with on-site Project Manager and Supervisor
What We're Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and accountability
Process-driven mindset with ability to follow structured workflows
Comfortable with touchscreens, UI navigation, and scanning systems
Able to handle large volumes of hard copy documents
Reliable, dependable, able to commit to a long-term project
Ability to sit for extended periods while maintaining focus and speed
Equipment & Training
Hands-on training provided
Use of advanced OPEX scanning machines (large-format, high-speed equipment)
Clear guidelines for readable and ordered processing
