Position: Bid & Proposal Analyst (Onsite)

Our client — a well-established distribution and supply organization serving diverse commercial customers — is looking for a detail-driven Bid & Proposal Analyst ready to make an impact. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, numbers-focused environment and enjoys collaborating across departments to drive revenue growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Identify and develop new bid opportunities while managing the full bid lifecycle
  • Prepare, coordinate, and submit bids, quotes, proposals, and sales plan/GPO analyses
  •  Perform product matches based on customer usage reports and cost comparisons
  •  Calculate pricing proposals, generate cost-savings reports, and analyze alternative product options
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to verify specifications and follow up on bid awards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely submission of all documentation
  • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring to the Table
  •  Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Solid business math and analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
  •  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive attitude

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of related bid, pricing, sales support, or analytical experience
  • High School diploma or vocational training required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience working with confidential information in a professional office setting
  • Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment.

I worked with another regional staffing firm until I joined Lloyd in 2006 and have been happily employed here ever since. I’ve spent the majority of my tenure working with contract (temporary) talent in roles ranging from Administrative Support to Customer Relations, to Backoffice Accounting and much more. I try to work closely with our staffing associates to address their needs for working contract engagements whether it be for scheduling flexibility, to explore career options or simply because the temporary nature of the work is appealing. I try to get to know my contract associates so that I can keep them as busy as they want to be when it comes to short or long-term employment. I’m a good example of using the pandemic to pursue a dream and recently relocated to my favorite vacation spot, Myrtle Beach, SC as my new home. Fortunately, remote work is a great option.  #LIVINGLLOYD
