Job Description

Location: Fully On-Site in Holtsville, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Report to: Benefits Department

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our Benefits Department. This role will provide essential administrative assistance, ensuring the smooth operation of benefits processes and supporting team members with various tasks. 

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with employee benefits enrollment, updates, and inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for benefits programs.
  • Prepare and distribute communications related to benefits offerings.
  • Coordinate benefits-related meetings, including scheduling and preparing materials.
  • Handle data entry, reporting, and document management with precision.
  • Respond to routine inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Quick Learner and ability to multi-task.
  • Solid Communication Skills and Strong Phone Etiquette
  • Ability to Start ASAP
  • Experience/Knowledge of Benefits, Pension, and/or Annuities is a Plus/Bonus but Not Required.

Prior to starting my journey as a Talent Associate, I worked closely with Lloyd on the temp side as a field associate for more than 10 years on various assignments. Having the experience temping and understanding the process, I feel that has allowed me to gain a better insight and heightened my ability to assist my candidates throughout their job search! I have an extensive background in Customer Service, as well as the administrative field.

Both of which have allowed me to develop my build relationships along with communication skills to assist with Client Development. I have always believed that communication is the key to every great relationship, whether it be business or personal. I will continue to stand by that belief and apply it to my staffing process here at Lloyd with both clients and candidates!
