Admin Assistant
Job Description
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Lloyd Staffing is partnering with a boutique law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation to find a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This firm is known for delivering high-quality legal services with a personalized approach, and they are seeking a dependable and proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their legal career who is eager to grow within a fast-paced, litigation-focused setting. The position will begin onsite and transition to a hybrid schedule (2–3 days in-office) after the successful completion of the first 90 days.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents (correspondence, pleadings, discovery, etc.)
File documents with state and federal courts (electronically and physically)
Maintain and organize both physical and digital case files
Manage calendars, schedule court dates and appointments for attorneys
Answer phones and greet clients and visitors
Process mail and perform administrative tasks (scanning, copying, faxing, data entry)
Support billing and time entry processes
Order office supplies and manage inventory as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications
1–2 years of administrative or legal office experience preferred
Basic knowledge of legal terminology and litigation procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Experience with e-filing systems and document management is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively

Prior to starting my journey as a Talent Associate, I worked closely with Lloyd on the temp side as a field associate for more than 10 years on various assignments. Having the experience temping and understanding the process, I feel that has allowed me to gain a better insight and heightened my ability to assist my candidates throughout their job search! I have an extensive background in Customer Service, as well as the administrative field.
Both of which have allowed me to develop my build relationships along with communication skills to assist with Client Development. I have always believed that communication is the key to every great relationship, whether it be business or personal. I will continue to stand by that belief and apply it to my staffing process here at Lloyd with both clients and candidates!
