Job Responsibilities: • Prepares and maintains grant-account reconciliations, budgets, cost reports, vouchers and various other financial statements and reports. • Collaborates with Corporate Finance to prepare and/or review grant journal entries for monthly close • Serves as a resource and provides financial analysis regarding grant accounts to applicable Principle Investigators/Program Directors, outside vendors or support staff. • Researches and reports variances to grant budget. • Reviews, investigates and reports errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports. • Monitors expenditures, encumbrances, receipts and receivables for compliance with applicable policies and regulations. • Advises and counsels key personnel (outside or staff) on issues related to compliance with grant or contract terms. • Monitors phases of grant and contract awards to ensure compliance with federal regulations, financial requirements, sponsor, and institutional guidelines; collaborates with staff to ensure financial compliance and proper accounting of externally and internally sponsored funds. • Helps with grant and contract proposal formulation, review, and processing, including budget development and approval to meet sponsoring agency and institutional norms. • Provides assistance with the preparation of HR/Payroll paperwork, purchase orders, check requests, and fiscal reports. • Prepares projections and rolling forecasts over multiple fiscal years. • Performs related duties, as required. Job Qualification & Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, required. • Prior grant accounting or general accounting experience, required. • Maintains current knowledge of various state, federal and industrial standards and regulations. • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, required. |

Hello - name is Angelina Torres. I recently started as a Talent Associate in the practice area of Business Support/People Operations, but I’m not a newcomer to Lloyd Staffing. Prior to starting my journey as a Talent Associate, I worked closely with Lloyd on the temp side as a field associate for more than 10 years on various assignments. Having the experience temping and understanding the process, I feel that has allowed me to gain a better insight and heightened my ability to assist my candidates throughout their job search! I have an extensive background in Customer Service, as well as the administrative field.
Both of which have allowed me to develop my build relationships along with communication skills to assist with Client Development. I have always believed that communication is the key to every great relationship, whether it be business or personal. I will continue to stand by that belief and apply it to my staffing process here at Lloyd with both clients and candidates!
