We're looking for a Director of  Operations to oversee our New York area distribution center and back-of-house retail operations.

• Manage our NY distribution facility with oversight on all areas of operation - including inbound, outbound, internal transfers and inventory control
• Maintain clear and disciplined processes in receiving, picking, binning, cycle counting
• Continually refine our systems and processes, leveraging our ERP and WMS infrastructure and hardware enablers
• Collaborate with Product and Ecommerce departments to identify priority shipments and adequately plan and resource for peak periods across inbound and outbound
• Manage back-of-house teams in retail stores, including stockroom management, inbound/outbound transfers, inventory control and fulfillment-from-stores
• Oversee procurement, including warehouse supplies, shipping and logistics costs
• Hire personnel and develop training and development programs to ensure consistent flow of skilled talent
• Manage floor-level workers and develop leaders capable of taking managerial responsibility
• Set and monitor KPIs across key areas of operations
• Provide regular reporting to Executive team
• Set and maintain a culture of hard work, discipline and teamwork

You are / have:
• 5+ years of warehouse and logistics experience (consumer goods preferred)
• Able to manage warehouse-level personnel, maintaining tight discipline
• Process and solutions-oriented
• Unafraid to roll up your sleeves
