Job Requirements

Area of Responsibilities

  • The Facilities Manager ensures that the facility, equipment and facilities systems are properly serviced, cleaned, maintained and repaired.
  • Oversees the daily activities for the physical operation and maintenance of facility and property 
  • Schedules, coordinates and tracks programs for facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair. (NY CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) operation)
  • Ensures that an adequate inventory of supplies and spare parts is maintained
  • The Facilities Manager role is highly visible and extremely service oriented.  A very flexible attitude, willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and do whatever is needed, along with the ability to efficiently multi-task and manage staff.  
  • This position will work with consulting and administrative staff, as well as building management and outside service vendors, so strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ensure that all NY Maintenance staff activities are in accordance with the company’s SOP’s and all staff properly document applicable logs.
  • Complete NY Maintenance service request work orders.
  • Must be available 24/7 365 to respond to emergency situations as well as respond to daily repairs as they may arise to the NY facilities and equipment to ensure limited production downtime.
  • Ensure that the NY Facilities Department follows all Company Policies such as safety, employee manual, etc. 
  • Creation and manage Change controls, deviations, and CAPA cases as required to support compliance program as related to Facilities and equipment
  • Other general NY facilities and equipment maintenance duties may be assigned.
