Our client is a major force in the Pharmaceuticals community. They have asked us to identify and refer a Director of Medical Affairs who is ready to join an exciting, cutting-edge organization strongly committed to the development of its employees as leaders.
Our client is seeking a candidate who exemplifies clinical development expertise. Reporting to the Head of Medial Affairs the person hired for this role will contribute to, and support the execution of the lifecycle management activities for the company’s commercialized indications/assets. Oversee the development and commercialization of new products and the support of existing products, including bringing strategic marketing input to the clinical team and clinical input to the marketing team. Responsible for the design, execution, and summary findings of Scientific Advisory Boards and Phase IV studies. Be the Subject Matter Expert and provide scientific information regarding on and off-label use of company products as requested by health care providers. Coordinate continuing education presentations and symposia. Provide input into the creation of marketing materials and ensures data is accurately and effectively communicated. Provide medical and scientific support and assist in the training of the Marketing and Sales departments. Reviews and approves marketing materials for accuracy and fair balance.

- MD, PhD or PharmD required.
- Minimum of 7 years R&D experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry in Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Medical Information or Medical Communication.
- Must have scientific background with a solid understanding of the clinical development process.
- Excellent oral, written and personal communication skills.
