Big Data Tech Support Engineer – Customer Facing
We are representing a booming VC funded start up that will be doubling in size - revenues are tripling every 12 months.
This team bringing the next generation of analytics to data savvy organizations all over the world.
End-to-end solution that starts with Apache Druid, through ingestion of data from Kafka, S3 and HDFS and ends with perhaps one of the most intuitive UI’s.
Opportunity to make major impact and multiple hats. Engage directly with customers, guiding them through architecture, development and operations.
- Linux, Hadoop and Kafka or Kinesis…Big Data/Data Modeling a big plus (Druid or related systems such as Pinot, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch)
- Empathy, team player mentality and strong communication
The role is based in the San Fran area but there is opportunity to work from remote as needed.
We have placed 9 people including (EVP of Marketing, Head of Customer Success, Principal Presales Architect, 3 Enterprise Sales Executives, etc...) Everyone loves the company/ technology!
