Job Description

Communications Support Role: 3-5 years writing: We are seeking a strong writer with skills in writing communications, public relations to assist in supporting an internal communications team for world renowned healthcare organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in writing initiative-driven communications materials across full array of digital and traditional communications channels, including mobile app, intranet, blog, social media, email, e-newsletter and print.

Ensure campaign and initiative-driven content is aligned with team and departmental editorial calendar. Collaborate with Internal Communications team members and the Marketing & Communications Departments.

Actively collaborate and partner with Internal Communications team, by participating in team brainstorms, taking advantage of stretch assignments and deepening relationships with site-based communicators.

Consistently improve communications effectiveness by employing sophisticated use of data and analytics for all directly managed system-wide campaigns, and staying informed on functional best practice and innovation.

Performs related duties, as required.

REQUIRED

EXPERIENCE AND

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in English, communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in communications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact with employees at all levels and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Familiarity with Adobe PhotoShop, content management systems and social media tools a plus.
