We specialize in Agile Development and SecDevOps on-premises and in the cloud, as well as Security Engineering and Operations, Risk Management Framework, and Enterprise Operations. We see tool integration and custom configuration as critical drivers for reducing labor costs and expanding data sets and capabilities in security operations programs.
We are collaborating with the Senior Director of Infrastructure, whom we hired several years ago. He's looking for a right-hand man or woman. They are a leading provider of security service applications. Fantastic culture. Leaders who are incredibly compassionate and humble! While the technology environment is diverse (Windows, VMware, Azure, Cisco, Dell, Fortinet, Citrix...), the Sr. Director would prefer someone with strong Citrix/Netscaler experience
Job Responsibilities:
Serves as a technical expert (SME) in system administration for networks and operating systems.
Provisioning and maintaining servers, both virtual and physical
Diagnosing & resolving issues across multiple different areas such as networking, storage, infrastructure, Citrix etc.
Configuration of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls)
Maintenance of a Citrix environment running presentation server 4.x
Using ticketing, monitoring, and reporting systems
Monitor system performance, IT system operations and storage utilization.
Plan and document for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth
Serve as right had person to the Senior Director of Infrastructure
Mentors team members and educates users.
Job Qualifications:
10 + years of relevant experience.
Good knowledge of TCP/IP/Routing/OSPF/BGP/VLANs/ EtherChannel
Experience with managing networking devices, Fortinet and Cisco switches Firewall ASA/VPN Security, and Wireless systems
Good knowledge of virtualization, ideally Dell vXrail, VMWare 6.x/7.x HA/DRS etc…
Good Knowledge of backup /recovery /replication technologies utilizing (Veeam) Exagrid
Good knowledge and experience building and managing Windows and related technologies such as AD, DNS, DHCP
Good knowledge of Citrix Presentation Server4.x, Web Interface, CSG, CAG, Citrix Receiver, NetScaler
Good Knowledge and understanding of Mail Flow and its components SMTP/MX records
Good project management skills and ability to work independently on various assignments
Can utilize network diagnostic tools such to troubleshoot network problems
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills with an ability to both understand and explain technical issues
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn in a high paced dynamic environment
Must be positive, self-starter and able to develop and sustain a culture that places our customer’s needs at the forefront of every decision.
Ability to manage projects and take on initiative to improve and resolve issues around servers and networks
Good knowledge and experience building and maintaining Mac Os Linux systems, ideally Ubuntu
Cloud experience Azure/Aws
MS SQL support knowledge

They even moved me from NY to California and back to NY over the course of my journey with them. I worked with clients such as the Department of Defense and the Fortune 100. After that, my technology career pivoted to Hosted, Managed and Professional Technical Services. At that time I was working for a Fortune 15 company, really rounding out my technology breadth of knowledge. After 12 years, I made the decision in 2011 to move into the Recruitment Industry by joining Lloyd Staffing (LloydIT division) where I have enjoyed a successful career ever since. Specializing in Technology has been my core focus my entire career. I have worked in the technology space for 20+ years now and it has given me an incredible understanding of industry, skill sets, challenges and work cultures my clients value. I am based in NY and cover nationwide searches for our clients, most heavily focused on Software Engineering, Project Management and Executive Level positions.
On off hours, you can find me at the gym...or driving my kids everywhere as a glorified “Uber driver” for them (although my kids still refuse to pay me for this for some reason). LOL.
