Personal Injury Litigation Attorney
Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with 2+ years of plaintiff litigation experience. Candidates with specific exposure to the areas of personal injury and property damage litigation are preferred.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in Personal Injury law, research skills, significant experience with written and electronic discovery, experience taking depositions as well as experience with trial preparation and participation. A commitment to exceptional client service and an interest and willingness to participate in business development efforts are necessary.
Compensation:
Base salary $110,000-$125,000 Base Salary + Bonuses. Bar Dues and CLEs provided by the law firm, commission on cases brought into our firm for any area of law that we handle (minus PIP).
Responsibilities:
Includes handling litigation caseload from inception through trial or resolution. The attorney will complete extensive case-related research into relevant laws and regulations, negotiate on behalf of clients, draft and interpret contracts and legal documents. Attending court hearings and trials, preparing pleadings and letters, handling discovery requests and take depositions. Draft motions, responses, and other filings in state and federal court cases. Appear in court, take, and defend depositions, interact with clients. Handle discovery matters, including discovery requests, responses, and motions. Investigate facts.
Qualifications:
License to practice law in the State of Florida in accordance with the Florida Bar Association. 2+ years handling personal injury litigation matters. Excellent written and verbal communication. Great attorney work ethic.
