Job Description

Family owned and operated Long Island, New York based electrical and heavy civil construction company has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team.
Key Functions
  • Review and process weekly payroll for Union contractor
  • Process time entry which includes checking accuracy of payrolls
  • Input timesheets
  • Address payroll queries from managers and employees
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in payroll (Construction and Union experience preferred)
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to participate productively as a contributing member in a team environment
  • Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to identify problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and makes recommendations
