Job Description

Our client is a Long Island based company that sets up conferences and educational forums. They are looking for an Administrative Assistant who can assist with the operations of the office. 
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Create correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Order office supplies, handle all office equipment, deal with vendors
  • Submit expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Handle multiple projects as needed
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Book conference calls, rooms, and all travel arrangements  

Job Requirements

Proven administrative experience
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Must have strong proficiency - Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Must be willing to travel with the team 3-4 times a year (all within the US)
